Glendale Family Photographer

There is no shortage of cute babies/kids here in LA, but I must say that this brother & sister duo are two of the CUTEST kids I've ever met!!  I last saw them about 11 months ago and I honestly think they're even cuter now, if that's possible.  I 'heart' these two cuties and I look forward to watching them grow up!!  You can see the photos from their last session here.  And here are a few from our recent session:

By the way, I should mention that Cooper already has a couple of big modeling gigs under his belt... and he just barely turned 3 last week!  Check him out in the latest Hanna Andersson catalog.  He's the cutie wearing the orange bat jammies on the left.

Knock, knock - Ventura County On Location Photographer

I'm always on the lookout for interesting locations to shoot, and I recently spotted this really cool door in the neighborhood.  I had a chance to check it out over the weekend and Tristan was my handy dandy model of the moment.... and clearly he was not in the mood to have his pictures taken!!  Oh well.  Frown and all, I still think he's pretty cute  :-)

Processing on these two images are very minimal and that's because..... I borrowed a friend's 85mm 1.4 lens {sigh}!!! I didn't play with it much but the few shots that I did take turned out so crisp and buttery at the same time. Did that make sense? There is simply no substitute for an excellent piece of glass such as this.

Just My Skater Kid - Thousand Oaks Natural Light Kids Photographer

I was shooting on location.... as in.... in front of our garage!  In the past, I would have left the garage door down, a boring white door.  But I thought, why not add some more colors, textures and interest?  And so although the garage is a mess, I think it made for a very interesting backdrop for my subject!

Cute & Handsome

Here are just a couple of sneak peeks of a headshot session I had with an adorable little boy yesterday. At the tender age of 3-11/12th years old, he already has several TV and modeling gigs under his belt and can you just see why?  What a cutie pie!!

Just a couple of new shots of the boys - Tristan is on top and Chase is on the bottom. C&T recently got signed on with a modeling agency (woot woot!) and we're going to our very first casting call tomorrow.  It's for Nordstrom's.  This could be a really fun experience..... or it could be a nightmare!!  Stay tuned....

{Models In the Making} southern california kids photographer

When I'm a little short on time but in need of an urban type setting, I come to this cool little spot.  I love to shoot here but the catch is that I can only do it on the weekends when they're closed.  On this particular day, both Chase (wearing gray) and Tristan (wearing red) were quite willing to model for me, but I must say that Chase was really working it!  Hmmm, I just might have a couple of models in the making...
