Over the weekend, the boys and I took a trip down to Little Tokyo in downtown Los Angeles and spent the day at the Japanese American National Museum for their Target Family Free Day in celebration of Valentine's Day. Target hosts a free day at JANM once a month and I highly recommend taking your family there for an enriching and fun experience. The museum had lots of fun activities set up... we made heart shaped origami and tissue paper flowers, participated in a cookie decorating contest, made Valentine's day cards and enjoyed a complimentary cupcake from Dainty Cakes LA. By the way, the yummy cupcakes are made and served out of a pretty little white truck!!
The next Target event at JANM will be held on Saturday, March 13th and the theme for the day is "Wear This." Mark it in your calendar and check it out!
