Sweet Girl - Los Angeles Kids Photography

I have absolutely no recollection of being 2 years old...  but I do know from having my own 2 year olds at one time, not too long ago, that it was HECTIC!!!  Most toddlers are busy, busy busy and it's the cutest thing to watch them explore and discover the world around them.

This little darling girl was one busy gal and let's just say that I got a very good workout following her around!  She is a mover and a shaker and she reminded me so much of my two guys when they were 2 years old... and how they just could not sit still LOL!!  I remember being exhausted all the time, chasing them around but it's so very sweet.... You have to savor the moments with your babies while you can because it does go by in a flash.  Having said that, I will admit that I appreciate the toddler stage so much more, now that my boys are 6 years old and can stay still for at least a few minutes at a time LOL!  Thanks for a fun, fun session!!

{Paramount Ranch} Southern California Kids & Family Photography

Paramount Ranch, located in the Santa Monica Mountains is a wonderful, scenic place to explore, hike and take pictures!! There's a Western Town full of buildings that were used as backdrops for many movies and tv shows. You can read more about its history here and here.  The boys and I visited Paramount Ranch over the weekend just to hike and explore (and take pictures of course!) and we got really lucky because a park ranger came by and asked us if we wanted to take a peek inside the buildings!!  We were so excited to get a first hand look at a historical, real-life movie set and get a tour of places that most people will never get to see! The jail and saloon were really cool but I liked the sound stage the best. It used to be a real live barn and now the walls, ceiling and floors are completely padded, cutting down on the noise level exponentially... I think I need a room like this in my home...

Do not train boys to learn by force and harshness, but lead them by what amuses them, so that they may better discover the bent of their minds.
