Faces & Flowers

This image of Tristan was taken a little over 2 years ago. At the time, I was still shooting with my 35mm film camera and I preferred to use Fuji's NPS 160 pro film for its soft and creamy colors. So here I was with just one frame left on the roll and as I pressed the shutter, I knew that the composition was less than perfect. I wasn't planning for Tristan's hand to be covering his nose and mouth and if I had been shooting with a DSLR, I could have kept on shooting and most likely would have gotten a better image.... Anyways, I tried to quickly reload another roll of film and hoped that Tristan was still in the mood to hand me a flower but of course, that particular moment was gone forever... Nevertheless, I still love this image and that's why I pulled it out for this week's challenge. Head on over to i heart faces to see the other delightful entries!
